If you insure your phone with your mobile network and your phone is damaged, they will replace your phone (normally next day). Our cover, whilst more comprehensive, aims to repair your existing device first and we will supply a replacement device only if that is not possible. While our service may take a little longer to get you up and running again, we believe it offers better overall value.
Why can a repair be better?
Imagine, you've dropped your iPhone, the screen has cracked and it is unusable. For many of us, the first thought is not the cost of repairing or replacing the device but the realisation that you've just lost precious memories of friends, family and important life events. With our insurance you can send it in to us where we will repair the physical damage to the screen, and you receive a working phone back with your data intact, where possible. We always request that the data is backed up, and we can't promise that the data will be intact.
